Monster Island

In this game inspired by a popular monster-catching franchise, you explore Monster Island, tame monsters, and try to find and defeat the six legendary monsters.

This game has:

• 12 common monsters you can fight and tame
• 6 legendary monsters you need to find and defeat
• An island hex map to explore with different terrain types
• A town in the centre of the map where you can stock up
• A rumour system where you learn more about each legendary monster, and increase your chance to find them
• Special events where you can find treasure, help townsfolk in danger, or hear the roar of a legendary monster nearby
• Easy-to-follow combat with attack types, weaknesses, and status effects
• Monster levelling, where your monsters gain HP and attack power as they gain levels
• Professional art for the island hex map and legendary monsters

The PDF has 5 pages of rules, 6 pages for common and legendary monsters, and one page for the hexmap of the island.

The map included in the main PDF is rotated so it can be printed. I've uploaded a landscape version if you want to view it on a screen.
