Wildreach 1.1


I've massively overhauled Wildreach after my first play-test.

Here's what's changed:

  1. Events and quests have been simplified to random tables you can roll dice against, instead of playing cards you draw from a deck.
  2. Movement has changed so that you roll a pool of dice and see which terrain types you can move to.
  3. The map is now smaller and more varied, but with no roads or rivers.
  4. The "Tension" concept has been removed.
  5. There is a "map track" around the outside of the map which you advance along as you play, and which controls story events and other changes.
  6. The equipment deck is simpler and the suit and value of the card tells you more about what the equipment does and how much it costs.
  7. Fleeing has been removed.
  8. Resting has been simplified.
  9. You can no longer lose the game by being defeated. Instead you must rest.
  10. Named destinations have been added to the map to help with quests, and scenario events.

I plan to make more changes after later play-tests, but let me know your thoughts.
